I have been creating for more than 15 years across two continents and have a wide background in advertising and computer graphics. Whether developing a corporate identity in Colombia, creating websites and multimedia presentations for clients in North Carolina, animating for a motion picture and video game in Los Angeles, or creating motion graphics for a television show, I always strive for perfection in my projects. I am a firm believer that one must always keep learning and seek out new challenges.
Being born and raised in Colombia, South America, I am fully bilingual/bicultural in both English and Spanish, and remain firmly connected to my Hispanic/Latino culture and heritage. While simultaneously working at my previous positions as Senior Designer at Qué Pasa Media Network’s newspaper, Associate Art Director at Pace Communications, and Creative Director at Hispanic Marketing Consultants, I have been generating solutions for companies wanting to reach the ever-growing Hispanic market. During my time at the newspaper and at my current position as Creative Director at Hispanic Marketing Consultants, we were bestowed numerous awards by the National Association of Hispanic Publications (NAHP), including Outstanding Design, Outstanding Entertainment Section, Outstanding Front-Page Design, Best Magazine Design, Best Web page design, Best Newsletter and Best E-Publication.
When I am not designing, you can find me playing soccer, winding down at the beach or the mountains (whichever is closer), but more often than not, watching a series or two on TV and playing a not-so-recently released video game. Every once in a while I will get the urge to learn something new and end up playing the harmonica or the ukulele, installing laminate flooring, and binge watching how-to videos on YouTube of things I might never get to work on.
